Dr. Gabriela Regino, N.M.D., M.S. is an Arizona board certified Naturopathic Medical Doctor. She received her doctorate from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She received expert training in a coveted post-medical program in Family Practice and Endocrinology with a focus in management of sex hormones, adrenal and thyroid disease and dysfunction, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, intravenous (IV) therapy, MTHFR mutations and gastrointestinal related issues. In addition, Dr. Regino received a Master in Exercise Physiology from the University of Nevada and a Bachelor in Health Promotion & Wellness with an emphasis in Athletic Training from New Mexico Highlands University. Dr. Regino spent eight years working for the US Air Force as an exercise physiologist and strength and conditioning coach prior to becoming a physician. Her strong desire to educate people about health, nutrition, and prevention of diseases served as the catalyst in her pursuit of Naturopathic medicine. She saw a need to help those individuals in the military that was beyond her scope and it was at that point her passion developed to be a physician so she could provide a broad and integrative approach to health and healing that would be transformative in patient’s lives both physically and emotionally.
Dr. Regino has a dedication for assisting others with creating healthy lifestyle practices through exercise and diet. She has ongoing training in the field of nutrition and is effective with helping people move in the direction of preventative health through healthy dietary and lifestyle practices. She is passionate about the field of neurology and continues to find ways to assist others to regulate brain neurochemistry to live a more effective emotional, as well as, physical life. A native of Brazil but educated in the United States, Dr. Regino has a great respect for diversity and takes a professional yet down to earth approach to relating with her patients to put them at ease and understand how she can best help them achieve their healthcare goals. She speaks multiple languages including: English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Dr. Regino Serves a Primary Care provider addressing acute and chronic illnesses in Family Practice and addressing women’s health concerns. She is versed in multiple therapeutic modalities including: pharmacology, homeopathy, acupuncture, IV and injection therapy, botanical medicine, Biopuncture, exercise and nutrition. Dr. Regino is also certified in PRP and Micropen facials. An effective natural esthetic procedure for building collagen and elastic in the skin through your own natural growth factors.
Dr. Regino is a member of the Arizona Natural Medical Association, National Strength and Conditional Association and a member of the International Association of Function Neurology and Rehabilitation and is an Adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
